A concrete furrow in a bedrock, planned to be cable car track from Vřídelní street to the top of a hill is a defined plot of unspecific task. The plot is individuality predetermined by the program and the concept of design that primarily corresponds the geometry, morphology and address. The steep slope (37%) requires special technical solutions for comfortable mobility (escalators, lifts or cableways). It is definitely not necessary to consider the slope as a barrier, but conversely use its significant morphology. A climbing center seems to be one of the possible functions that would not be in conflict with the character of the slope. Oblique concrete walls of furrow, that get narrow on the bottom, are used as formwork (load bearing structure) for the climbing walls. The furrow is also raised to extend the climbing area. Polygonal geometry of climbing walls guarantee a wide range of paths with variable difficulty. The furrow section is constantly transforming longitudinally. The resulting building's volume is predetermined by different climbing ways and disciplines. The object merges with its igneous bedrock and the cliff arises. The new program tries to attract young residents to the city center and mix them with current users (mostly tourists). Part of the center is also used as a gym and a boulder bar (accessible from the lower part via a narrow vacant lot form Vřídelní street).
